Moon & Stars Cat Illustration - Tiny Treasures

I've been gaining creative momentum and with many projects underway, I'm in the studio full-time. When I set new goals for 2018 at the turn of the new year, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. But I am in heaven. I'm most certain Netflix misses our evening companionship and our house sobs from feelings of rejection. Fiona, our cat, has been acting out with tearing up plastic bags and shredding throw rugs. I've had to dodge regurgitated fur-balls on my runway to the bathroom, and I just know she strategically made that move! Thank God spring is here for King Arthur's (Arty) sake, our mini-schnauzer. He can socialize with the neighboring dogs and my guilt for not taking him on his day-time walk is decreased.

How else is a person supposed to live when they busy themselves with achieving big-dreamy goals? :)

I'm still interested in participating the “Tiny Treasures” casual challenge, so here is a small drawing of a mother and her kitten. This one is my forth submission – I was recently introduced to a quote that I liked quite a lot:

"Great things are done by a series of small things brought together" - Vincent Van Gogh

It fits!

Tabby Cat Watercolor - Tiny Treasures

I've committed myself to the Tiny Treasures art challenge for the Triwing Art Challenge Club. It was introduced mid-February, but I haven't made time for it until today. The object is to create small pieces of work - less than 5x7 inches. It's a casual challenge (with no end date), so it's perfect for me, as I am currently working on a couple large projects (more on that to be revealed later!)

I've decided to start this challenge with cute kitty designs.

My submission "Tabby Cat" is 2.5 x 3.5 inches (6.5 x 8.5 cm) and it was rendered with watercolor pencils.
